The Avon 1876 Cape Cod Glass Cruet.
It is of of course ruby red and measures about six inches high. A “cruet” is a small bottle with a flat bottom and narrow neck. They have a lip to pour liquid out and were often used for oil, vinegar, or juice. Now, a cruet is more commonly used as an interesting collectible. |
There are various variables that can affect price, such as the condition of the item, salesmanship, the need to have it, the time of the year (such as Christmas), whether an original Avon box is included, etc.
